Hmmm, I don’t know if I’m impatient or if it’s slow season for my little green fruit.
They’ve been taunting for weeks and are still only about four inches tall. Last year was a cornucopia harvest. This year may not be so.

Being self sufficient in fruit, veg and herbs has been a dream of mine, and one that has been largely doable. But avocado won’t grow in Melbourne, nor will any tropical fruits. We are too dry and not hot enough.
Now my dreams about a home for our Golden Age, especially beach frontage, are becoming clearer. I will read more, plan more, save money more
